Terms and Conditions
Before you start your business journey here, let’s quickly go over some expectations (aka “Terms and Conditions”)! Please read them carefully before booking a 1:1 strategy session with Gold & Pink Strategies (that’s the official Illinois business name - I will refer to the company as “Gold & Pink Strategies”). By booking a session, you, the “Client”, agrees to be bound by this Agreement.
Service Description
Gold & Pink Strategies offers one complimentary 15-minute virtual strategy consulting session per Client conducted via Zoom. Clients may book an unlimited number of paid 60-minute virtual strategy consulting sessions, conducted via Zoom, based on availability (see refund policy before booking more than one). These sessions are designed to support clients in the areas of business planning and development, growth and profitability improvement, and operating model and organizational design strategy. All services offered are based on Gold & Pink Strategies professional experience and expertise in business strategy and consulting. These sessions are intended solely for strategic guidance, support, and planning purposes. Although, self-image and mental health will be referenced, these services do not include mental health counseling, psychological services, or any form of licensed therapeutic support. Gold & Pink Strategies and its representatives are not licensed therapists, and no part of these sessions should be interpreted or relied upon as mental health or therapeutic advice. Clients are encouraged to seek licensed professional care for any mental health concerns.
Booking and Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your session, payment plans are not accepted. Payment is accepted via credit/debit card. Rates are subject to change without notice, but will not affect sessions that are already booked and paid for. To purchase services from Gold & Pink Strategies, you must provide valid and current payment information. By doing so, you represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use the credit card(s) or other payment method(s) provided; and (ii) all information submitted is true, accurate, and complete.
Gold & Pink Strategies uses third-party payment processors to facilitate transactions. By using Gold & Pink Strategies services or website, you authorize Gold & Pink Strategies to share your payment information with these third parties solely for the purpose of processing payments and fulfilling purchases.
If a payment is declined, revoked, or reversed for any reason, Gold & Pink Strategies reserves the right to:
Cancel any scheduled sessions;
Deny access to future services; and/or
Suspend or terminate the client relationship without notice.
Continued access to services is strictly conditioned upon full and successful payment. No sessions will be held or confirmed until payment has been received and processed.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
You may reschedule your session up to 48 hours in advance by re-scheduling via the scheduling platform. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice or no-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable regardless of session attendance, participation or perceived outcomes. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or inability to attend, sessions may be re-scheduled, but no refunds will be issued. If Gold & Pink Strategies needs to cancel or reschedule the session for any reason, you will be offered the option to reschedule yourself via the scheduling platform at no additional charge. Please refrain from booking a second session until the first session has been completed and we have assessed the scope of remaining needs. Gold & Pink Strategies is not liable for refunds on multiple sessions in the event that all client needs are met during the initial session. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.
Client Responsibility
While Gold & Pink Strategies is committed to providing high-quality strategic consulting and delivering the utmost value, however, the client understands and agrees that specific outcomes or results are not guaranteed. Results depend on various factors, including the client’s individual circumstances, level of implementation, market conditions, and other variables outside of Gold & Pink Strategies’ control. The client agrees to complete the required questionnaire prior to each session, regardless of whether it is their first session or a subsequent (e.g., third or fourth) booking.
Confidentiality
All information, including business ideas and proprietary details, shared by the Client during the session will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Gold & Pink Strategies will not disclose, share, or use any such information for any purpose outside the scope of the consulting relationship, except with the client’s prior written consent or as required by law.
To protect both parties, clients are not to send any confidential or sensitive documents to Gold & Pink Strategies via email, online forms, or file uploads before, during or after sessions.
Confidential documents include, but are not limited to:
Financial statements (e.g., profit and loss reports, balance sheets, tax returns)
Bank account details or credit card information
Legal documents (e.g., contracts, operating agreements, NDAs)
Business plans or pitch decks containing proprietary strategies
Client or employee data (e.g., names, contact information, salary data, or HR records)
Trade secrets or non-public intellectual property
If sharing this type of information is essential for context or discussion, you may do so visually via secure Zoom screen sharing during the session. This allows you to maintain control over what is disclosed, without transmitting or storing sensitive files electronically.
Gold & Pink Strategies is not responsible for the security of any confidential materials sent outside of a scheduled session or outside the Zoom screen-sharing process within a session. If the Client accidentally sends confidential or sensitive documents, Gold & Pink Strategies will discard the document immediately.
Intellectual Property
Any materials, frameworks, methodologies, or resources provided by Gold & Pink Strategies during or in connection with the sessions are the exclusive intellectual property of Gold & Pink Strategies. Such materials are provided solely for the client’s personal, non-commercial use and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or otherwise used, in whole or in part, without Gold & Pink Strategies prior express written consent. Unauthorized use or dissemination of these materials is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer
The Client acknowledges and agrees that the services provided by Gold & Pink Strategies are for educational and informational purposes only. Gold & Pink Strategies does not provide legal, medical, or mental health advice. The Client acknowledges and agrees that any decisions or actions taken based on the content of the sessions are solely the Client’s responsibility. Gold & Pink Strategies shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or any other damages or losses arising from or related to the Client’s use of the services or reliance on the information provided during or after the sessions. The Client is strongly encouraged to seek advice from their own licensed professionals prior to making any significant decisions.
Changes and Updates to These Terms and Conditions
Gold & Pink Strategies reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. In the event of material changes, Gold & Pink Strategies will provide at least 30 days’ notice before the new Terms take effect. By continuing to access or use our services after any updates become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the services immediately.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking and paying for a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
